Cut your manual sanitising time with the AA SIP3300 Self Sanitising POU Cooler which automatically sanitises your Cooler for 5 minutes every night at 2am ! It does this through a short burst of Ozone into the water tank. Ozone – nature’s most powerful oxidising agent destroys harmful bacteria, viruses, mould and algae. Ozone is a naturally occurring gas which is generated during thunderstorms and the Ozone layer in the atmosphere acts as a life saving UV shield for us. But this is not the only connection with UV. Ozone (O3) is generated by Corona Discharge from Oxygen (O2) 2. The Ozone is then pumped into the water Tank of the Cooler where it kills off harmful bacteria 3. A timing mechanism – pre set for 2am every morning – activates the Ozone Generator and Pump, which pumps the Ozone for 5 minutes into the water tank 4.
